"Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s" star Tim Norman is accused of screwing over the landlord for his famed restaurant to the tune of a quarter of a million dollars.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kensinger Properties filed a lawsuit against Tim Norman and the company behind Sweetie Pie’s Restaurant.
The suit says Norman took out a lease with the company for a property in Houston, where the Sweet Times by Sweetie Pies restaurant was previously located.
The company accuses the reality star of breaching the agreement and claims he owes a total of $254,019.76 in back rent and other unpaid fees.
They are suing for the unpaid balance plus interest.
Norman is still dealing with other legal trouble. He was charged last year with misdemeanor assault by the District Attorney of Harris County, Texas. He is accused of assaulting his former restaurant employee named Horace Hodges.
The trial is set to begin later this month.
