Taylor Swift has been accused of plagiarism by songwriters Sean Hall and Nathan Butler.

Hall and Butler accused Swift of stealing the lyrics of her song "Shake It Off."

The songwriters claimed the 2014 song was a variation of a song they wrote in 2001.

Hall and Butler believed "Shake It Off" was a variation of 3LW's "Playas Gon' Play."

This copyright infringement case was initially dismissed by a judge in 2018.

However, a federal court overruled this decision, allowing the case to have a jury trial.

The date for the "Blank Space" singer's trial has not been set.

Swift's latest album, "Red," has two songs that could be about her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

Gyllenhaal began trending after the release of Swift's emotional songs.
