Salma Hayek recently opened up about how she “no longer feels defined by her sexuality.”
The actress spoke to GQ about being typecast in her career.
Hayek said she’d wanted to feature in comedies but was restricted by the “general opinion of the Hollywood elite.”
She revealed that it wasn’t until Adam Sandler cast her in “Grown Ups” that she started her comedy career.
Hayek’s interview was accompanied by a beautiful photo shoot shot by famous photographer Ashley Olah.
During the interview, she also spoke about how more people now appreciate more than just her sexuality.
Hayek married François-Henri Pinault, a French billionaire businessman.
The couple have a daughter, Valentina, together.
Hayek also discussed the constantly changing nature of masculinity, saying there’s “a lot of weight on men.”
