More actors have started to talk about the deadly “Rust” shooting last October.

A gun held by Alec Baldwin discharged, which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Nicolas Cage said that actors need to learn how to use guns if they are going to handle one.

He compared it to needing to learn how to ride a horse if a character rides one.

“You need to take the time to know what the procedure is,” he added. “Those are part of the job profiles.”

Dinklage said it’s “clearly a no-brainer” that nothing like that should happen again.

Garfield agreed that it’s a “no-brainer” and said that it should be avoided.

Dinklage also talked about the inner struggle of being anti-gun, although his character isn’t.

However, Dinklage said that the fatality made it clear “that there has to be change, like now. 100%.”
