Reba McEntire Pays Tribute To Her Team 30 Years After Plane Crash

McEntire felt that her mother’s death two days before the 29th anniversary of the crash in 2020 meant that they were all in heaven together.

The crash killed seven members of her band, one tour manager, and two pilots.

The use of the plane was inevitable due to the heavy tour schedule at the time.

An investigation showed that the plane’s wing was clipped on the mountain because of a miscommunication between the flight service specialist and the pilot.

McEntire said the wing wouldn’t have clipped the mountain if the plane was 200 feet higher.
