Nicolas Cage had to give up his favorite form of therapy: karaoke.

Apparently, Cage used karaoke as a form of therapy until April 2019.

Someone posted a video of his cover of Prince “Purple Rain” online and it went viral.

At that point, Cage declared, “I’m not going to karaoke anymore.”

“Don’t steal the gift from the world,” Andrew Garfield said. “You need to keep giving.”

Cage said that, “Singing is therapy, I think. Absolutely.”

Even though it’s in public, Cage said that “karaoke’s supposed to be private. It’s like a prayer.”

Recently, Cage has stated that he no longer wishes to be identified as an “actor.”

Instead, he prefers to be called a “thespian,” even at the risk of sounding “pretentious.”
