Like Leighton Meester, Jodie Sweetin Was Born In Prison Too

Jodie Sweetin has not had an easy life, but she has zero regrets today.

The actress and mom spoke with “Wild Ride” some time back and dropped a bombshell.

She told the host that she was born in jail, at the USC County inmate floor.

Soon after her birth, Sweetin was given for adoption, and she has never connected with her birth parents.

While this caused her childhood trauma, she had come to terms with it now, saying she did not even know if her birth parents were dead or alive.

Sweetin has gone through alcohol and meth addiction herself, as well as three failed marriages and another failed engagement.

She’s 40, and mother to two daughters, and currently engaged to Mescal Wasilewski, something she’s very happy about.

Her engagement came a week after Bob Saget’s death, something she and her “Full/Fuller House” castmates took rather hard.

Sweetin is pragmatic about it, still missing Saget but saying that life always goes on and that’s okay.
