Liam Neeson played Qui-Gon Jinn in 1999’s “The Phantom Menace.”

It was his one and only live-action appearance in the “Star Wars” franchise.

He was the one who insisted that Anakin Skywalker be trained in the Force.

Arguably, that served as the basis for the entire Skywalker Saga.

Many fans wonder if he’ll make an appearance as a Force Ghost in the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Disney+ series.

However, Neeson hinted to Comicbook.com that he will not be returning.

He said that he would be open to returning to the franchise… “if it was a film.”

“Yeah, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to TV,” he said.

It’s been 24 years since they made “TPM,” but Neeson still recalls that it was a “terrific experience.”
