On Wednesday, April 6, Kris Jenner got candid on "Good Morning America" about her relationship with Caitlyn.

Kris admitted that Caitlyn's transition was "a big shock" and a "scary thing" for her family to experience.

The momager explained that she and her family never expected to confront or deal with the subject directly.

Now Caitlyn's ex-wife and family have come to terms with her new status and support her.

Kris told host Robin Roberts that she and Caitlyn are fine and friends. They also meet at family gatherings.

The exes divorced in October 2013, two years before the "I Am Cait" star came out as transgender.

The former spouses became estranged when Caitlyn published her tell-all memoir "The Secrets of My Life."

While on "Celebrity Big Brother," Caitlyn said things were okay with Kris but could be better.

Caitlyn credited her desire for a better friendship with Kris to the benefit of their offspring, Kendall and Kylie.
