Kate Hudson has revealed that her decision to marry Chris Robinson at age 21 was not “impulsive.”

“I just jump in the deep end of everything I do,” the actress explained. “I just didn’t think twice.”

The duo tied the knot in 2000 and welcomed one son Ryder, before later splitting in 2007.

Now, the actress is engaged to Fujikawa, with whom she shares a kid, Rani.

She also discussed losing out on the female lead role in Luhrmann’s 2001 film “Moulin Rouge!”

Actress Nicole Kidman eventually played the part.

Hudson shared that she fell in love with director Baz Luhrmann after auditioning for the role.

“He’s so wonderful. And energetically, I just felt very connected to the way he does things,” she said.

“Moulin Rouge!” earned eight nods at the 74th Academy Awards.
