Amber Heard’s comments about Johnny Depp and his movie roles seem to be working in the actor’s favor.

Last week, the actress sat down with Savannah Guthrie on “TODAY” and spoke about her legal loss against her ex-husband.

Guthrie asked Heard, “In the closing arguments, the Depp lawyer called your testimony the performance of a lifetime and said you were acting. What do you say to that?”

“Says the lawyer for the man who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers,” she retaliated. “I’m the performer?”

You’ll recall, Depp portrayed the boy with scissors for hands in Tim Burton’s 90’s classic, “Edward Scissorhands.”

Turns out the prop hand from “Edward Scissorhands” sold for big bucks.

According to TMZ, Propstore put the actual insert hand Depp wore in the 1990 film up for auction, and projected it would sell for somewhere between $30k-$50k.

However, when push came to sale, the ‘Scissorhand’ prop sold for an astonishing $81,250.00!

This isn’t the only piece of Depp movie memorabilia that has gone for big money at the auction block. The motorcycle a young JD rode in “Cry Baby” is up for auction for $250,000.00.
