Jennette McCurdy quit acting a few years ago after revealing the toxic environment she grew up in and in the Hollywood industry.

The star spoke to Enews in an exclusive interview about why she might go back to acting.

She noted one of the things that would make her come back was if she could write something by herself.

She also mentioned that a chance to act with veteran actress Molly Shannon would convince her.

Shannon has been incredibly supportive of McCurdy and her memoir.

The 58-year-old considered the child actor brave to be able to be candid about her experiences.

The 30-year-old also mentioned that she found some closure after writing the book.

The memoir titled "I'm Glad My Mum Died" stayed at the top of the New York Best Selling list for eight weeks after its release.

The iCarly star took to Instagram to thank everyone that made it possible.
