Dame Helen Mirren is 76, and having a great time, whether it dancing in the rain or pretending to drive fast cars in the Fast & Furious franchise.

Screen Actors Guild is bestowing her with a Life Achievement award and Mirren feels absolutely honored.

“The Queen” actor holds dual citizenship since 2017 after she had an epiphany post 911.

Mirren says when the second tower fell, she began to feel “American” and finally took American citizenship in 2017

Mirren has been married to American film director Taylor Hackford since 1997 and spends a lot of time in the US.

She attributes her happy marriage to their time apart so that they are always happy to see each other.

But the 76-year-old actress still nurses a secret. It worries that her acting skills may not be as great.

She feels that the Life Achievement Award, being given to her by Screen Actors Guild, is a bit undeserved.

Mirren believes that she’s being given the award because she’s alive and still acting. She simply feels honored.
