Jamie Spears has finally agreed to step down as the head of the conservatorship but is asking to be compensated $2-mill... something that Brit's lawyer calls extortion.
"Regardless of the past, Mr. Spears and his counsel are now on notice: the status quo is no longer tolerable, and Britney Spears will not be extorted," the documents state.
Brit's team says Jamie's attempt to "barter suspension and removal in exchange for approximately $2 million" is a "non-starter," which basically means 'Hell no!'
“If he loves his daughter, Mr. Spears should resign now, today, before he is suspended. It would be the correct and decent thing to do,” Rosengart told HollywoodLife.

Jamie's latest act to agree to give up being Britney's conservator put her in a position to either give in to his demands or fight tooth and nail.
