Wright was rushed to the hospital after suffering injuries while filming the upcoming Marvel film, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ Production is currently underway in Boston.

What Happened?

Letitia was reportedly suspended from a ‘stunt rig’ when she became caught in the apparatus and suffered ‘minor injuries.’

“Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," Marvel said in a statement.

The statement continued, "She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon.”

It’s currently unclear how long Wright’s injury will affect the shooting schedule, which has primarily been on location in Atlanta.

‘Wakanda Forever’ is the first movie in the franchise following the death of Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020 from cancer.
