Tyrese Gibson's daughter will be allowed to testify as part of his ex-wife's restraining order case involving allegations of child abuse against Gibson.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Gibson had asked a judge to bar 10-year-old Shayla from being called to testify. Gibson argued that be being forced to give testimony as part of a domestic violence case involving her own parents would "have drastic, long-lasting implications for the child's wellbeing and psychological welfare."

A judge did not agree, however, and ruled that Norma Gibson, Tyrese's ex, can call Shayla to testify ... if Norma chooses.

The two sides are due back in court on October 24.

As The Blast first reported, Tyrese was accused of pinning his daughter to the ground and viciously beating her so hard she was unable to sit down afterward.
