Maci Bookout isn’t just scared that her baby daddy is going to come after her family, she’s worried he may harm the family dogs.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Bookout checked the box that specifically says “You must not hurt or threaten to hurt any animals owned or kept by the Petitioner/Petitioner’s children” when she filed for protection against Ryan Edwards.
The “Teen Mom OG” star has two adorable boxers named Bonnie and Clyde who she has previously said, “We treat like they are our children.”
It’s unclear if Edwards made a direct threat to the dogs, but the fact that Bookout specifically included her pets while filing for her temporary order of protection means she’s worried.
The documents that she and her husband Taylor McKinney filed also list a “Warning” that Edwards owns a gun. However, McKinney’s petition checks the box that a weapon was involved in the threats made by Edwards, but the exact details are unclear.
As we reported, Bookout and McKinney filed for orders of protection after Edwards was arrested on a violation related to a heroin charge. She has a 9-year-old son with Edwards from when they dated.
The reality star and her husband are expected to appear in court Monday afternoon while a judge determines whether to grant a permanent order of protection.
