Soulja Boy Found in Violation of Probation, Taken Immediately Into Custody

A judge ruled on Thursday that Soulja Boy violated his probation and he was immediately remanded into custody.

The rapper will be held without bail until a hearing on April 30.

The probation violation was triggered after police found ammunition at Soulja’s home while executing a search warrant related to a woman's claim he kidnapped a woman.

He was taken into custody last month and released a short time later on his own recognizance.

Soulja Boy was arrested back in 2014 for carrying a loaded firearm in public. He was then found to be in violation of his probation in 2016 after he was found to be in possession of a firearm.

He was sentenced to five years probation in 2017.
