"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Alexa Curtin is back in trouble with the law after being charged recently with driving under the influence of a drug.
According to court records, the incident where Curtin allegedly drove under the influence took place back on June 6, 2017. Curtin was also cited for driving without a valid driver license.
Law enforcement sources tell The Blast that Costa Mesa Police was called to the scene of an accident at around 2:45 PM on the day in question. Sources say Curtin had crashed her car and police came to investigate.
While on the scene, the police noticed Curtin (who was driving) seemed to be acting like she was under the influence. Police had her perform a field sobriety test, which we're told she failed.
Curtin submitted to a blood test by police and the results came back showing a cocktail of prescription drugs, including Clonazepam (aka Klonopin) and opioids.
The reality star was officially charged on April 18 in Orange County Court. An arraignment has been set for June.
Curtin has been racking up criminal cases in the past several months for everything from possession of paraphernalia relating to smoking heroin to petty theft and vandalism for allegedly keying her boyfriend’s car.
Both of those cases are still pending due to Curtin not appearing in court.
