The son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly carrying out a string of violent attacks around Los Angeles.

According to the LAPD, 33-year-old Redmond has been connected to 5 violent incidents, and was charged Friday with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, brandishing a knife and battery.

Officials described the "violent crime spree" which allegedly began on May 2 and culminated on May 8 when The Blast broke the story that Redmond had been arrested for trying to rob a 7-11 at knifepoint.

Other incidents included several unprovoked attacks on people, including one who was stabbed in the face by the troubled Hollywood spawn.

Redmond has been in jail since the 7-11 incident, his next hearing is scheduled for July.
