Omarosa Manigault Newman says that when she was at the White House, there were private meetings about how to get CNN reporter Jim Acosta thrown out of the White House press corps.
The "Unhinged" author was out and about Wednesday morning in D.C. when she was asked her opinion about Donald Trump and the White House revoking Acosta's press pass and the subsequent lawsuit filed by CNN.
"They’ve been wanting to get rid of Jim for such a long time, since I was in the White House," she told the photog. "In private meetings, they would talk about trying to figure out how to revoke his pass."
As for whether or not Acosta should get his press pass back, Omarosa says, "It needs to be reinstated. It’s completely counter to the code of conduct of the White House and for the president."
The former White House aide ended the brief interview with a warning for her former boss.
