Kim Porter's Death a 'Complete Mystery' to Investigators

3:04 — Porter's autopsy has been completed and the cause of death has been deferred pending further investigation.

The investigation into the cause of death of Kim Porter has left investigators completed baffled as to why she died suddenly at the age of 47.

According to our sources, Porter's autopsy should either today or tomorrow. We're told investigators have preliminarily ruled the death "natural" based on the scene and interviews conducted with friends and family.

Porter had been suffering from the flu in the days leading up to her death. Our sources say she was being treated by a private doctor but there were no medications taken from the scene that could have led to an accidental death.

We're told that during the preliminary interviews, friends and family told investigators that Porter did not have a history of drug or alcohol abuse, adding that she lived a very healthy lifestyle.

The cause of death will be deferred pending toxicology results but as of now ... it's a complete mystery.

Kim Porter — who dated Diddy for 13 years and was the mother of three of his children — passed away suddenly on Thursday. According to the L.A. County Coroner, Porter was pronounced dead at her home at 11:40 AM.

Porter and Diddy had three children together — 20-year-old son Christian and 11-year-old twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James.
