Justin Bieber Accuser Says Celebrity Status Does Not Give 'N-Word' Pass

The man who filed a lawsuit against Justin Bieber wants the singer held accountable for hurling a racial slur during a street fight, and believes Bieber used the "N-word" as a form of humiliation.
According to a new statement from Tobias Cannon's legal team, they claim "Justin Bieber has a history of inappropriate behavior." The attorney says Bieber is "fortunate" Cannon did "not engage in mutual combat," and claim the singer used the "N-word" to insult and humiliate the Las Vegas businessman.
They don't beat around the bush: "Mr. Bieber's celebrity does not give him a license to use the 'N' word."
Taking a direct shot at the Biebs' history of immature incidents, Cannon's attorney claims he was "sucker punched in the back of the head by one of Mr. Bieber's babysitters."
Cannon's attorneys scoff at the claims made by Scooter Braun, who alleged the lawsuit is a money grab filed for publicity: "This lawsuit was not filed for publicity. If that was the case, it would have been filed at the time the assault was first reported."
They add that Cannon, who caught the winning puck during the Stanley Cup finals, "justifiably believes that Mr. Bieber should be held accountable for his conduct."

Bieber has not publicly responded since the filing of Cannon's lawsuit over the 2016 fight in Cleveland after an NBA finals game.
