"The Real" co-host Jeannie Mai isn't wasting any time — just days after the news broke she was divorcing her husband, she's filed the documents to do just that.

Mai's rep confirmed on Friday that Mai planned to file for divorce from hubby Freddy Harteis ... and she did so on Monday.

According to divorce docs obtained by The Blast, Mai is citing irreconcilable differences for the split. The couple was married for just under 10 years and they did not have kids.

Mai is asking the court to terminate Harteis' right to be awarded spousal support and wants the option to request support herself.

On Monday, Mai talked about the split on "The Real," saying, "To this day, I mean it honestly, he’s the best man I know ... I married him because he’s like my dad. He’s very loyal, he’s very compassionate, so funny, an awesome guy and in our 13 years of being together there was never any lies, no betrayal, no cheating, nothing."
