George Zimmerman Battles P.I. for Trayvon Martin Doc to Reveal Names of Witnesses Against Him

George Zimmerman is determined to get the list of names of former victims and witnesses who spoke about him for the Jay-Z produced Trayvon Martin documentary.
As The Blast first reported, private investigator Dennis Warren has objected to a recent subpoena by Zimmerman, who is demanding that Warren bring all documents, emails, and other records of his work while allegedly investigating Zimmerman.
Warren claims that several of the people he contacted while working on the documentary are alleged victims of Zimmerman, and expressed that they were extremely scared of the man. He claims that “they do not want him to know what they said about him or have any contact with him.”
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Zimmerman says he needs the requested documents/information because they are "crucial, relevant, and necessary for viewing and inspection" so he can properly prepare his defense in the criminal case.
Zimmerman was charged with misdemeanor stalking after allegedly threatening Warren, who was hired by a company producing the Trayvon Martin documentary.
Warren said he left one voicemail for George Zimmerman to participate but then in December 2017, he claims Zimmerman called 55 times, left 36 voicemails, texted him 67 times and sent 27 email … over a span of just nine days.
The private investigator told police he was scared for the safety of himself and his family. Investigators also felt that Zimmerman’s knowledge of the P.I. and his whereabouts caused a legitimate concern.
Zimmerman has entered a plea of not guilty.
The case is ongoing.
