Ed Sheeran's Suffolk estate was on fire for 90 minutes before fire crews were able to contain the flames.

According to officials, one of the buildings on the singer's nearly $2 million sprawling country estate near Framlingham, Suffolk caught fire on Friday morning.

Three fire trucks were sent to the property after a call came in reporting the blaze, which took them nearly two hours to put out, a spokesperson for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.

"Suffolk firefighters were called to a small building fire in Dennington at 0733 this morning. Three engines were sent to the incident, from Framlingham, Saxmundham and Halesworth," he said. "Crews extinguished the fire quickly and then ventilated the area of heavy smoke. The incident was closed at 0855."

The extent of the damage to Sheeran's home is currently unclear.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but luckily Sheeran wasn't home at the time. The singer was spotted Thursday way across the pond attending the National Association of Music Merchants trade show in Anaheim, CA.
