The Vegas Golden Knights are having a winning inaugural season, and we figured out the secret to their success ... gigantic steaks!

Forward Alex Tuch and defenseman Shea Theodore stopped Andiamo Italian Steakhouse at the D in downtown Las Vegas over the weekend where they treated their families to a pre-Christmas smörgåsbord.

Tuch and Theodore opted for the gigantic 32 oz Tomahawk ribeye steaks, which they easily smashed -- pretty impressive considering Theodore is missing quite a few teeth.

Whatever the case, the boys were jacked up on the power meal which resulted in Tuch scoring the first goal for the Knights against the Capitals on Saturday night in their 3-0 shutout, and Theodore scoring the first goal Wednesday night against the Anaheim Ducks in the 4-1 win.

Clearly the Tomahawk steak was the X factor ... don't be surprised if you see a line of NHL players outside Andiamo next time you're in Vegas.
