She’s done! Stassi Schroeder is getting ripped a new one after issuing an apology when her past racist comments surfaced. The “Vanderpump Rules” star took to social media over the weekend to say sorry for how she treated her former co-star Faith Stowers. Her comments came back to light after Schroeder began using her platform to stand with the Black Lives Matter movement. Bravo fans were quick to point out that the reality star once called the cops on Stowers after racially profiling her.
“Racially insensitive comments from my past have resurfaced. It is important that I continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better,” Stassi Schroeder said in her statement posted on Sunday.
Turning the focus on the incident with Stowers, the “Next Level Basic” author continued, “My emotions over something that happened between our friends outweighed my logic, and there is no excuse for that. I did not recognize then the serious ramifications that could have transpired because of my actions. What I did to Faith was wrong.”
Promising her fans that she will do better, Stassi Schroeder concluded her apology by stating, “I am also sorry to anyone else that feels disappointed in me. I am going to continue to look closer at myself and my actions – to take the time to listen, to learn, and to take accountability for my own privilege.”
After they posted her apologies, followers immediately shot them down with many taking aim at Stassi Schroeder, who viewers have watched be the ringleader in the show. “You’re only apologizing because you got caught. We see you Stassi,” one person wrote. “CANCELLED!” added another. “I am SO disappointed and disgusted, girl. I really had a lot of respect for you,” said another who added that she put Faith Stowers life at risk, “You put her at risk of being MURDERED by police!”
Others only accused her of coming forward to ease tensions with Bravo. “I wonder if you would have apologized if you didn’t get caught,” someone posted. “She only wrote this because Andy and Lisa are about to fire her,” shared another. Stowers recently spoke out about the incident involving Schroeder and Doute which included the “Vanderpump” duo calling the cops on her after seeing
a tabloid article about a black woman wanted for theft. “This is like, a true story,” Faith Stowers said.
