‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute just lost another job after the wine company who manufacturers their ‘Witches of Weho’ brand says it will no longer be producing the product.
The company, Nocking Point, says it will not only stop the manufacturing and production of the women’s wine but they have pulled all existing inventory from its website.
“The term of our agreement with the ladies expired months ago and we have taken any remaining inventory down from the website,” a rep for the company says.
That’s not all…
The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars joined co-star Katie Maloney in releasing a pinot grigio called ‘Basic Witch Potion No. 1’ in February of 2019.
Although it appears a link on the company’s website still has the product, the rep clarified to Us Weekly, “sold out and removed from our main shop for many months.”
They continued, “It’s long gone and we won’t be making or selling more,” and confirmed the group’s rose had also been removed from the company’s site.
In addition, the wine company released a statement regarding its position on the death of George Floyd and the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests.
“In solidarity with the Black community, Nocking Point stands squarely against the systemic oppression that continues to claim innocent lives. We believe in the true spirit of this nation that champions diversity, equality, and justice for every living individual.”
The statement, which was sent to customers via email and shared on the company’s social media accounts continued, ” “We commit to advocate for the movements, solutions and legal & cultural changes that we all so desperately need – and have needed for far too long.”
As we reported, Stassi & Kristen were fired by Bravo after co-star Faith Stowers recalled a 2018 incident were the duo racially profiled her and calling the cops after seeing a black woman in a tabloid accused of drugging and robbing men.
In an interview with “Floribama Shore” star Candace Rice, Faith said, “There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people.”
‘Vanderpump Rules’ producers responded swiftly in firing both women, and now fans are calling for Jax Taylor to also get the ax, based on several of his prior statements.
