'Vanderpump Rules' Star Brittany Cartwright Shares Snap Of Mom In ICU, Asks For Prayers

Brittany Cartwright gave fans an emotional glimpse into her last week when she shared a photo of her mother, Sherri Cartwright, in the intensive care unit. The "Vanderpump Rules" star posted the snap on her Instagram Story. Showing her mom laying in her ICU hospital bed and hooked up to machines while giving her followers an update on Sherri's condition. Saying she has a "long road ahead," Brittany Cartwright turned to her fans in her time of need and asked for continued prayers.
"Thanks so much for all the love and prayers for my mom," she wrote on Thursday, June 18. "Please continue to pray," the Bravo personality encouraged. "She has a long road ahead but she is so so strong and amazing!!" Brittany Cartwright rushed home to Kentucky to be there for her mother. Her husband, Jax Taylor, did not appear to go because he was photographed in sweats and doing yard work outside their Los Angeles home on Wednesday. This was the first time he had been seen since the firing rumors began.
Over the weekend, news broke that Sherri Cartwright was in ICU. Kentucky pastor Ryan Dotson, who was originally scheduled to officiate Brittany and Jax's wedding, posted all about it on his official Facebook page. Revealing that things are "uncertain" for Brittany Cartwright's mom, Dotson wrote, “I would like to ask all my friends to please pray for my friend and church member Sherri Turner Cartwright. She had to have an emergency surgery after having a scheduled procedure that went bad. She’s in ICU and things are uncertain, so please join us in prayer for Sherri and believe God for her full recovery.”
Former "Vanderpump Rules" star Kristen Doute came out of hiding to share her first post since being fired from Bravo to ask fans for prayers as Brittany's mom recovers.
Fans haven't been sweet to Brittany Cartwright this week. Many bashed Cartwright's behavior after watching her fiercely defend her husband on Tuesday night's part three of the "Vanderpump Rules" reunion. After Kristen and Stassi Schroeder were fired, Bravo fans are demanding the network take action against Brittany and Jax. As of now, Bravo has canned five personalities over racial comments.
