The "Girls Have Fun" rapper held a moment of silence for the fallen star Thursday night during his Vancouver concert.
Putting a photo of Nipsey up on the big screen with the words "Rest in Peace," Tyga quieted the crowd before sharing a few words of his own.
After news that Nipsey was gunned down in front of his Los Angeles clothing store on Sunday, Tyga and several others from the hip-hop community took to IG to pay tribute.
"U inspired me to be my own leader and someone I truly admired. Ur soul will live forever! God got him a true King," he wrote.
Tyga's concert gesture comes the same day Nipsey's alleged killer, Eric Holder, was charged with murder.
As The Blast reported, Holder appeared in court and entered a plea of not guilty. He’s being represented by defense attorney Chris Darden, the former Deputy D.A. in L.A. and one of the prosecutors on the O.J. Simpson murder trial alongside Marcia Clark.
Holder's bond is currently set at $5 million.
