Tory Lanez Breaks His Silence On Facing 22 Years In Prison For Shooting

Rapper Tory Lanez is breaking his silence after being charged with multiple felonies in connection with the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion and the possibility of spending many years behind bars if convicted.
The 'Say It' rapper took to Twitter to respond to the serious accusations made by the Los Angeles District Attorney, and it is clear, Tory claims the 'truth' surrounding the incident still hasn't been shared and it will soon 'come to light.'

"(Time) will (tell) ... and the truth will come to the light ... I have all faith in God to show that ... love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart ... a charge is not a conviction," Tory tweeted.
He continued, "If you have supported me or meg thru this, I genuinely appreciate u."
Now, the last part is very interesting. As you know, there were three people besides the driver in the SUV on that fateful night which included Troy, Megan, and one of her friends. It appears his newest statement is attempting to place the two of them on the same side of whatever argument might have taken place.

"Only those with any amount of brain cells will not be taking sides in this situation. Megan told her side, tory told his side and now we wait for the truth," one fan wrote.
Another added, "Mad love brother hopefully if u speaketh truth you shall be set free may God be with u and if u are guilty may he forgive you and may Megan too find it in her heart to forgive you if your innocent may you forgive her."
As we reported, Tory was just slapped with multiple felonies by the L.A. District Attorney's Office, including "assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle."

According to the DA, the rapper allegedly got into some sort of altercation with Megan Thee Stallion while riding in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills. Prosecutors claim at that point, "the victim exited the vehicle, and (Tory) is accused of shooting several times at her feet and wounding her."
If convicted on all charges Tory Lanez is facing a whopping 22 years behind bars.
As we reported, Lanez got major backlash after he refused to tell his side of the story, instead, releasing an album with minimal details about the incident in his lyrics. We're told he has been advised not to get into detail until the criminal case is finished.
