'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood Sued Over Unpaid $600 Bill

By Ryan Naumann

“Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood has been slapped with legal papers over an unpaid bill relating to her Indiana home.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the Geist Harbours Property Owners Association filed suit against the reality star on August 5.

The suit says Amber is the owner of a home located in Indianapolis. The homeowner’s association says she has failed to pay the required fees for the property.

The lawsuit reads, “Defendant has failed to timely pay the mandatory assessments, late fees and other charges on their property as required by the covenants. Thus, the Defendant is indebted to the Association for $620.00 for past due unpaid assessments and other charges as of the date of this filing.

Amber is being sued for the $620 plus attorney fees. The “Teen Mom” star has yet to respond to the lawsuit in court.

The home at the center of the lawsuit is the same property where Amber lived with her ex-Andrew Glennon prior to their nasty breakup.

As The Blast previously reported, Amber and Andrew are in the middle of a nasty custody dispute over their son. Earlier this year, Amber rushed to court accusing Andrew of screwing her out of visitation time.

Last year, Andrew filed for custody of their kid after Amber was arrested for domestic violence. She allegedly pulled a machete on her baby daddy during an altercation. The reality star was charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and a felony domestic battery.

Back in October, Amber reached a plea deal with prosecutors in the criminal case. She entered a plea of “guilty to Count 1 Domestic Battery (Level 6 Felony) and was sentenced. Ms. Portwood was sentenced to 2.5 years of Probation (906 days).” She was facing a year behind bars.
