According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the reality star was cited for “unlawful driving of vehicle through or within a safety zone. The ticket was issued by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police on August 4. Amber will have to pay a $171 fine and the case will be closed.
The ticket is the latest in a string of legal issues for the “Teen Mom” star.
The Geist Harbours Property Owners Association filed suit against the reality star on August 5. The suit says Amber owns a home located in Indianapolis. The association accuses Amber of owing required fees relating to the property.
The lawsuit reads, “Defendant has failed to timely pay the mandatory assessments, late fees and other charges on their property as required by the covenants. Thus, Defendant is indebted to the Association for $620.00 for past due unpaid assessments and other charges as of the date of this filing. Amber is being sued for the $620 plus attorney fees. The “Teen Mom” star has yet to respond to the lawsuit in court.
The home in question is the same property where Amber lived with her ex-Andrew Glennon.
As The Blast previously reported, Amber and Andrew are in the middle of a nasty custody dispute over their son. The two are scheduled to appear in court later this year to battle it out over their son.
Back in October, Amber reached a plea deal with prosecutors in the criminal domestic violence case. She entered a plea of “guilty to Count 1 Domestic Battery (Level 6 Felony) and was sentenced. Ms. Portwood was sentenced to 2.5 years of Probation (906 days).” She was facing a year behind bars.
