Taylor Swift Fans Troll Kanye West After Unedited 'Famous' Phone Call Leaks

Taylor Swift fans are going for Kanye West after their unedited phone conversation over the controversial lyrics in his 2016 hit "Famous" leaked online. The two have been battling for years over the truth after Kim Kardashian released bits of their conversation which was recorded behind Taylor Swift's back. This sparked an Internet phenomenon with several people labeling the "Lover" singer a snake for lying about approving the song. Taylor Swift responded to the controversy by claiming she never approved being called a “b----" and released a statement saying, "you cannot approve a song you haven't heard."

The unedited version of their phone call has finally leaked and it appears there's two versions of the truth. Now, Swifties are hitting back at Kanye West. In the video, recorded in 2016, the "Power" rapper asked Taylor Swift to tweet out the song before warning her about the controversial lyric she was about to hear. She hesitates and asks, "Well, is it gonna be mean?” and Kanye West insists the lyric isn't. He then raps out “Taylor Swift might owe me sex," to which she responds, “That’s not mean.”

But that's not the lyric that made the final cut. Fans will recall, Kanye West's lyrics about Taylor Swift go a little something like this: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? / I made that bitch famous.” After the unedited phone conversation leaked, fans took to Twitter to address the great debate. Within hours, #KanyeWestIsOver party began trending. "Now that everyone (finally) found out Kim & Kanye are mf liars and miss Swift was right the whole time, let's stream reputation and give it the recognition it deserves. period," one fan tweeted.

"THIS is what y'all did. you all bullied a girl into disappearing for a year and even think about ending her career just because you all didn't even want to listen to her part of the story, which is the truth. #KanyeWestIsOverParty #TaylorToldTheTruth," wrote a third. Some tweeted that this "doesn't prove anything," but Taylor Swift's loyal fans aren't letting this one go.
