Soulja Boy kept his word and fulfilled his professional obligations hours after getting locked up on a possible probation violation.
The "Crank That" rapper performed Friday night at Staples Center as the Clippers beat the Chicago Bulls 128 -121.
Earlier in the day he was taken into custody on a possible probation violation after a February search of his home turned up ammunition. The probation can be traced all the way back to 2014 when he was arrested with a gun in public and sentenced to 5 years of probation.
As we reported, Soulja's attorney made a play for him to be let out so he could make his halftime show. The judge agreed and released the rapper on his own recognizance.
He's due back in court later this month for a formal probation violation hearing.
