David Labrava is an actor, writer and tattoo artist who appeared on the FX show “Sons Of Anarchy.” His background runs the gamut, from religion to motorcycles. Find out more below.

When he was 17, he got his first Harley. According to IMDb, Labrava is a certified Harley Davidson mechanic and graduated from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute.

In May, 2018, Labrava’s son, who had been suffering from depression, took his own life.

On a 2013 post, Labrava wrote: “The way of the Buddha is unattainable I vow to attain it.” Sounds Buddhist to us.

Labrava is also a writer, and has contributed a column for the magazine ‘Ol Skool Rodz called “Burnin’ Rubber With Jimmy Carbone.”

Labrava is now a former member of the Hells Angels, that infamous biker group, which rides mainly Harley-Davidsons. He was also known as a one-percenter.

Labrava got the role of “Happy” on “Sons of Anarchy” after being a motorcycle technical adviser for the show. He’s also been a script writer and camera operator.
