Simone Biles Breaks Silence On Brother's Triple Murder Charges: 'My Heart Aches'

Simon Biles is speaking out for the first time since her brother was arrested on charges of a triple homicide. The olympian says her "heart aches for everyone involved."

Biles issues a statement Monday through Twitter, writing, “My heart aches for everyone involved, especially for the victims and their families."

“There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone’s pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. I ask everyone to please respect my family’s privacy as we deal with our pain. XO.” she said.

Biles also said “Still having a hard time processing last weeks news.”


Her brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas, was arrested several days ago in connection with a triple murder where three people were shot and killed at a New Year’s Eve party in Cleveland.

Biles was charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and perjury.


According to documents obtained by The Blast, DeVaughn Gibson, 23, Toshaun Banks, 21, and DelVaunte Johnson, 19, were all killed in the shooting, while two other people were injured but survived.

Bile's brother faces life in prison if convicted on all charges.
