Sharon Stone is about to have one more child carrying on the Stone name.
The "Basic Instinct" star's 19-year-old son, Roan Bronstein, has filed documents asking to add "Stone" to his moniker.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Roan filed a petition for change of name this week in L.A. County.
The documents state that Roan Joseph Bronstein is requesting his name to become Roan Joseph Bronstein Stone.
Stone's son explains that, "I would like to take the surname of each of my parents."

Roan was born in 2000 and adopted by Stone and then-husband, Phil Bronstein.
The actress wed Bronstein, a former editor for the San Francisco Chronicle, in 1998.
Bronstein filed for divorce in 2003, citing irreconcilable differences, and the split was finalized the following year.
Stone and Bronstein were caught in a bitter custody war, and the actress ended up losing physical custody of her son, as a judge ruled that the boy's father could provide a more stable environment at his home in San Francisco.
Stone was allowed visitation.
She adopted another son, Laird, in 2005, and then Quinn in 2006.
Stone spoke about being a single mom during a 2015 interview with Closer magazine. "I find that it creates such an incredible meaning and such a compelling sense of intimacy and understanding that it’s hard to relate to people that don’t have children," she explained.

Roan clearly loves his mother, and is even frequently featured on her Instagram page and at events.
Stone apparently worked hard to keep a close relationship with Roan, even through the turbulent times, and now he wants to honor his famous mother by carrying on her legendary name.
