'Shahs of Sunset' Lilly Ghalichi and Husband Call Off Divorce

Lilly Ghalichi and her estranged husband Dara Mir are apparently giving it another shot and have called off their divorce. According to court records obtained by The Blast, Dara filed documents Thursday in L.A. County to officially dismiss his divorce from the "Shahs of Sunset" star. He had originally filed to end his marriage to Lilly back in August and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. He also did not list an official date of separation and requested that the court terminate his wife's ability to collect spousal support.
Less than two months after filing for divorce Dara was spotted attending the birthday party for the couple's 1-year-old daughter, Alara. The over-the-top bash was rainbow and carnival-themed. Dara could be seen in photos having a great time with his family, and there were reports Lilly and her estranged husband were even spotted kissing. Lilly, known as the Persian Barbie, didn't make any reference to a reconciliation with her husband, but one of the big gripes about their marriage in the past was the public exposure. It's possible whatever was going down between the two they just decided to keep private.
Lilly and Dara tied the knot in 2017 in a gigantic Persian wedding ceremony. The entire thing was filmed like an epic movie released on Lilly's YouTube channel.
"I wanted to share something special with you guys, so I decided to share my wedding video. It was the most incredible day of my life, I wish I could marry my husband a million more times."
"We had a traditional persian wedding ceremony, including something called a Sofreh Aghd which is what we are sitting behind during the ceremony. It has symbolic items in the display (a mirror, eggs to represent fertility etc)."
"We also did the knife dance before we cut the cake, which is where the brides friends steal the knife from the groom and he has to bribe them with money to get it back while they dance around him with the knife."
Divorce rumors started bubbling up for the couple after Lilly began removing photos of Dara from her Instagram page. The speculation got so big that Persian Barbie was forced to release a statement to Page Six addressing the issue.
"Dara and I care for each other very much. He personally is not a public person, and is uncomfortable with my social media. It is difficult for me, because I have always shared my life through my social media pages ... it’s my business. I love my family and my new role as a mother. I would love to share that joy with the world. To be with a partner that wants me to be as conservative, private and inactive as possible on social media can be challenging at times."
So far, neither Lilly nor Dara have publicly addressed the reconciliation or calling off the divorce.
