Is that you, Buffy?
Sarah Michelle Gellar didn’t dye her hair because she’s pretty in pink, she did it to embarrass her kids and it’s working! The 43-year-old shares two kids with husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., Charlotte Grace, 10, and Rocky James**, 7. The mother of two took to Instagram on Tuesday and debuted her new cotton candy pink look. Sarah wore a cute, sleeveless black top and had her freshly colored hair pulled back behind one of her ears.
“Well, because we’re still in quarantine, I had to think of a new and creative way to embarrass my children,” Gellar told her millions of Instagram followers.
“Quarancolor!” she gleefully concluded her funny video.
The legendary actress captioned her big debut video, “#quarancolor #roseallday (or until it fades out)” and her fans weighed in on the extreme change.
“Yesss love the hair,” one follower commented, while another said, “I STAN PINK BUFFY.”
“Too much red wine?,” a cheeky commenter wrote.
One specific fan pointed out how young Sarah looked. “Played a vampire slayer but clearly a vampire as she doesn’t age ?,” the funny fan joked. “Actually makes you look 10 years younger.”
The star has spent a good amount of time on social media while stuck at home. Earlier this month she completed the pillow challenge where the subject is not wearing any clothes but they are covered up by a big, fluffy pillow.
“#pillowchallenge inspired by #tigerking (btw so weird to put heels on- I feel like I need to start putting them on once a week so I don’t forget how to walk in them) ? ?,” Sarah wrote in the caption of her post.
Let’s just say that there were a few vampires that volunteered to be slain in the comments of her sultry pic. Tamra Judge commented, “You even make a pillow look hot.”
Gellar has been giving out tons of tips to her fans while everyone is locked in their homes. The tips are always very practical but they have that little SMG twist that makes them unique.
“SMG tip of the day: Put a stock of celery in bread and it will help keep it fresh for days,” she recently said on social media. “Or you can just eat the bread and put the celery in a bloody mary and call it a day!”
Het tips have to be valuable… she survived loads of vampire attacks so she must know what she is talking about. Thanks, Sarah!
