Ryan Seacrest is easily distracted by shiny objects and his fascination caused him to take a major, yet hilarious, spill on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on Tuesday, January 7.
The 45-year-old was reaching for a golden ball that fell from the ceiling during one of their segments… he caught it but he could not hold on to his chair. HE WENT DOWN and he went down hard. The blunder caused Kelly Ripa to panic a little as she quickly turned around to see if her co-host was okay.

A member of the production crew rushed onstage immediately following Ryan’s fall to help the star up and to stand the chair up that went down as well. Ryan was a good sport and popped back up as if nothing had happened.
“I got it!” he rapidly told the audience while holding the ball that caused the fiasco.
Ripa was extremely concerned for her co-host and said, “Your leg is badly hurt. I know the adrenaline is coursing through you but I saw your leg get…I saw your leg do something strange.”
Ryan laughed it off because, you know the expression, the show must go on!

It is better that Seacrest fell during his daily show and not during the live broadcast of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” He brought in the New Year with performances by BTS and Post Malone but it was the rapper who took a tumble that night.
The “Better Now” rapper fell off the stage and into the crowd during his song and he had to be helped up by several crew members.
See, we all take a tumble on occasion.
Ryan did his part to raise awareness about the out of control wildfires in Australia and he recently tweeted to encourage his fans to help.
“Devastated by the size and destruction of the Australia Fires. Thousands of people are displaced, wildlife is endangered, and firefighters are struggling to contain it. Even if you’re miles away from what’s happening, you can still help,” the TV host said.
He made sure to include a link that directs people where to donate.
