Rikki Rockett has been having anything but a good time when it comes to remodeling his Los Angeles home and now he's suing the construction company that has been handling it.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the Poison drummer claims he hired a company in early May of 2018 handle construction work and remodeling of his Los Angeles home.

He claims the two sides never had a written agreement, just an oral one. Rockett claims the company has taken "inconsistent positions" when it comes to the money — sometimes they say the agreement was for a "fixed sum," other times claiming it was on a "cost plus" basis.

Rockett claims the company started on the project but, to date, still has not completed the work. He alleges they have "failed to perform and to complete the services," performed "substandard" work in violation of building codes, subtracted work using "unqualified and uninsured workers," caused numerous delays, and incurred excessive cost overruns.

In the lawsuit, Rockett claims he has suffered "significant loss of property" and financial losses.

He is suing for breach of contract, fraud, and defamation and is seeking unspecified damages.

In December 2015, Rockett went on the SiriusXM satellite radio show "Eddie Trunk Live" and revealed he had been undergoing treatment for cancer.

He said at the time, "In June, I kind of got sick. I had this horrible cold, sore-throat thing, and they were scoping me and they were doing biopsies, and nothing was coming up. And finally a doctor at USC did a biopsy and took a look and he said, 'I believe you have oral cancer.' And what it was is a tumor at the base of my tongue."

The following July, he revealed he was cancer-free.
