“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Kelly Dodd is hitting back at rumors that Bravo has fired her amid the Stassi Schroeder scandal. The 44-year-old began replying to comments that haters left on a recent Instagram post where they told her that the network had cut ties, but according to Kelly Dodd, that’s just not true. The rumors began swirling after Stassi, as well as Kristen Doute, were axed from “Vanderpump Rules” after racial comments from their past resurfaced, leaving fans quick to call for Dodd’s firing too.
Her behavior has been under a microscope for the past several months with many calling her “insensitive” and “tone-deaf” for comments she made throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, as well as the fallout from George Floyd‘s death. Kelly Dodd immediately shut down the firing rumors on Tuesday by responding to the speculation, informing “RHOC” viewers that not only is she still holding an orange but they begin filming next month.

When someone wrote “Heard you were fired from hw [housewives],” the star wrote back, “from whom? I’m not!” After another fan stated, “I hope you aren’t fired you ARE the show Queen,” she responded, “I’m not fired… why is this being said.. if I was I would say I was fired.. thank you for your lovely support.”
According to fans, a reality blog “All About The Real Housewives,” claimed that Kelly Dodd faced the chopping block after Stassi and Kristen were let go from their Bravo show.
Kelly Dodd clapped back, stating that the site hates her and is always stirring the pot, claiming they are “team Tamra and Vicki” while informing her fans “don’t believe them.” While she claims to be safe for now, there’s no guarantee that it’ll stick. Especially since Bravo fans are calling for her head now that the network is cleaning up shop. As The Blast reported, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired on Tuesday after racially profiling their old co-star.
The former “Vanderpump Rules” star called the cops on Faith Stowers because they claimed she looked like a black woman who was wanted for robbery. While both girls have since issued their own separate apologies, fans weren’t having it and immediately demanded Bravo fire the OGs. Fans have now turned their focus on Kelly Dodd with NeNe Leakes even getting in on the action. “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star threatened to expose more Bravo personalities for their behavior but didn’t divulge which ones.
