Emily was excited to see him and confided in Gina Kirschenheiter that they barely talked the whole time he was away.

When he returned home, Shane seemed anything but happy to see his wife.

He was more concerned about eating his dinner then filling his wife, who's already a lawyer, in on how the past week went.

During a confessional, when asked if he missed his family while he was away, Shane responded, "I don't cry myself to sleep because I miss my family."

That set fans in a fury, with many taking to social media to unleash on Emily's husband.

Fans labeled Shane everything from "one of the worst husband's ever" to a "d-----."

"Sadly in all my housewives watching experience I've never seen interactions like Emily and Shane where the marriage didn't end. And btw is Shane deliberately TRYING to look like one of the worst husband's ever?" wrote one fan.

"'Ready to clean up and cook?' - Shane's last words before my hands wrap around his dainty little neck if I were Emily," added another.
