Camille Grammer is shooting down her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer's account of her freaking out and threatening divorce on the day of his mother's funeral. The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star slammed the "Fraiser" star following an explosive interview he gave calling her "pathetic." As The Blast reported, Kelsey Grammer opened up about his 13-year marriage to Camille during a recent sit-down with Graham Bensinger and claimed he knew their relationship was over the minute she threatened to leave him at his mom's funeral 12 years ago.

As soon as we ran the story, Camille shot back and told us Kelsey's story "is not true" and the 64-year-old actor is "rewriting history." The "RHOC" star recalled her side of events from that unfortunate day stating, "My parents were with us in the Hamptons when we received the news about his moms passing. We consoled him and flew back to LA to make arrangements for her funeral." Camille ended her statement by adding, "It’s unfortunate that he is rewriting history." Kelsey Grammer went for his ex-wife's jugular in the interview. When asked about their turbulent marriage and separation, the "Cheers" actor responded, "Honestly, I don’t really talk about her very much, because so much of her life is spent talking about me and I just think it’s sort of pathetic."

He also compared her to his current wife, 38-year-old Kayte Walsh, a big no-no. Kelsey said his wife of 8 years has a "little more perspective" and is "wise" and a "whole person," unlike Camille. The actor, who's credited himself for getting her on "RHOC" as his "parting gift," also told his story about her threatening to divorce him on the hardest day of his life.

"A month after I had a heart attack my mother died — 12 years ago now — the day of my mother’s funeral, my third wife basically had an explosion about something," he stated. "And she started telling me, ‘I’m out of this, I’m out of here. I want a divorce, blah, blah blah, which we’d had the same conversation for eight years, and it was tiresome." That's when Kelsey claimed he knew he wanted out of the marriage. "I realized at that moment that I was done with her, that I was not going to end up in this relationship for much longer. And somewhere under a year I was done."

Camille was Kelsey Grammer's third wife. The ex-couple filed for divorce in 2010 after walking down the aisle together in 1997. Together, they share two children -- daughter Mason, 17, and son Jude, 14. Camille and Kelsey recently hammered out their nasty custody dispute over their minor kids. As we reported, they agreed to split their son's tuition at a premier college-preparatory boarding school on the East Coast with Camille's half being a whopping $32,000. Kelsey also agreed to cover expenses like books, the cost of counseling, and uniforms. Following their divorce, it was reported Camille got $30 million from Kelsey in the settlement.

Both parties have moved on with significant others. While Kelsey has remarried and started a new life, including adding two small children to his family with Kayte, Camille recently walked down the aisle for the second time. In October 2018, she married powerhouse attorney David C. Meyer in an intimate ceremony that her "RHOC" members attended, well, most of them.
