“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna is coming out swinging at Garcelle Beauvais defending herself over multiple accusations her co-star threw her way. One day after fans watched as Rinna had the uncomfortable talk with her 19-year-old daughter Amelia over the concerns Garcelle had about Lisa contributing to her daughter’s “body issues,” the star is speaking out.
Over the past several episodes, Rinna’s provocative Instagram dances have been a hot topic of conversation. Often Lisa Rinna dances around in nothing but her bra and panties.
When Kyle Richards asked Rinna what her elderly mother thought of her sexy dances, it opened the door for Garcelle to chime in. After Lisa responded that her mom enjoys seeing what she’s up to on Instagram, producers cut to Beauvais’ confessional where she made a bold statement.
“I love that Lisa’s free enough to do the videos and be dancing,” she said, “but the dancing nearly naked is not a choice for me if I had a daughter that had body issues.” Amelia has struggled with anorexia, which she first went public about in 2018.
Cut to Wednesday’s episode where Rinna addressed the accusations with Amelia, who gave some validation to Garcelle’s concerns. Revealing that she had talked about her mother’s tiny frame to her therapist, Amelia admitted that at one time she did feel a certain way about not sharing Rinna’s body type but she’s over it now.
“You just happen to be a really small person. I talked about this with my therapist today. There’s shaming no matter what size you are. You literally cannot be perfect in this world,” Amelia told Lisa, adding, “You’re really not a part of any of my stuff.”
Lisa Rinna copped major heat from “RHOBH” fans who took to social media to blame and shame her, accusing the star of contributing to her daughter’s eating disorder. Now, Rinna is clapping back at the trolls and her co-star. Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, she posted a scratching message where she said, “I absolutely love dance!” adding it gives her so much “joy.” She then took aim at the haters.
“Don’t let ANYONE ever make you feel less than or guilty because of your freedom of movement and expression,” she continued. “Don’t ever let anyone tell you any different or judge you. You do you boo!!!!”
