'RHOBH' Star Dorit Kemsley Celebrates 43rd Birthday in Luxury Despite Bank Account Being Frozen

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley didn’t let a little thing like her bank account being frozen stop her from celebrating her 43rd birthday in high style.
The reality star celebrated her birthday yesterday with tons of wishes from close friends Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Teddi Mellencamp, Boy George and her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley.
Dorit started off her day by driving in a Bentley while listening to “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by the Eurythmics.
She even showed off flowers that PK and her kids Jagger and Phoenix got her with the note, “Happy Birthday to the World’s Best Mommy. We Love you so much.”
Her good friend Boy George also sent over a bouquet of flowers.
She would later join friends and family for a dinner with PK at the Beverly Hills Hotel. No other "Housewives" seemed to be present for the celebration.
Dorit’s friend even posted a photo of the reality star outside of the Beverly Hills Hotel entering a luxurious new car. The caption of the photo was “Not THAT’S a birthday present.”
Dorit reposted the photo, giving the impression she may have scored new wheels.
The luxury celebration and gifts are interesting given the Dorit and PK’s bank account was frozen earlier this month, with a Los Angeles judge ruling neither can touch the account until a court hearing in September.
A creditor, Nicos Kirzis, has been trying to seize the funds in a City National Bank account that Dorit has with her husband.
The legal battle is centered on PK owing $1.2 million to Kirzis who loaned the reality star money back in 2011. He accuses Kemsley of not paying a dime for years and the reality star even tried to wipe the debt clean in bankruptcy.
Kirzis said Kemsley recently made a payment of $250,000 but that only covered the interest that racked up for years, leaving a remaining balance still of $1,235,573.66.
The creditor recently went to court saying he tried to garnish a City National Bank Account under PK and Dorit’s name. Dorit rushed to court demanding Kirzis not be allowed to seize the $29,634.10 in the account. She argued the account was her separate money and PK had not contributed to it. Kirzis accused Dorit of not providing any evidence to back up her claims.
A hearing has been set for September, where the judge will decide if the bank account can be seized or if Dorit will keep the funds. The money can’t be touched until a judge makes a final decision. Dorit has also been ordered to appear in court with her bank statements and financial records, along with information about her sources of income.
She will have to let the court know of assets and property jointly owned with PK.
The Blast also obtained a video last year of a woman screaming at Dorit while on vacation with her “RHOBH” co-stars. The woman was friends with another man currently suing Dorit and PK over a bikini business.
In the video, you can hear the woman scream at Dorit to pay her friend and shouting, “You cheap bitch!”
