The “RHOA” star captioned the post, “It was my pleasure! I love you and as always praying for you Ms.Tamika Palmer (Mother of #BreonnaTaylor ) Ps: Thank you for waiting on us to get out! It was heartwarming exiting and seeing your family?? @untilfreedom it was an honor @tamikadmallory.”
As The Blast previously reported, Porsha was arrested with 86 other people while holding a protest outside the Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who has yet to bring charges against the officers involved in Breonna Taylor’s death.
Initially, Porsha was being held in jail with no bond for her charges. She was charged with felony intimidating a participant in a legal process, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and criminal trespassing.
On March 13, 2020, 26-year-old Breonna Taylor was fatally shot by the Louisville Metro Police Department. Three plain clothed officers executed a no-knock search warrant on her apartment in Kentucky.
As the officers broke into her apartment, Breonna’s boyfriend Kenneth Walker exchanged gunfire with officers believing they were intruders.
The police officers fired over twenty shots and eight hit Breonna. The warrant was in relation to an investigation into two men, Jamarcus Glover and Adrian Walker, suspected of selling drugs. Jamarcus was an ex-boyfriend of Breonna.
The three officers involved, Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove, have yet to be fired or face any consequences.
Beyoncé recently wrote a public letter to AG Daniel Cameron demanding action be taken against the officers.
