Rebel Wilson is proud of her 40-pound weight loss but the decision to get her transformation started was a struggle. The “Last One Laughing” star has shocked her fans by flaunting her much-slender frame over the past few months but now she’s opening up about why it took her so long to put the weight loss plan to action and it has to do with Hollywood. Opening up to The Sun, the actress revealed she was “paid a lot of money to be bigger.”
While she loved her role as Fat Amy in the “Pitch Perfect” franchise, she said knowing she was getting the big bucks for being obese wasn’t always healthy mentally. Telling the outlet that it “kind of can mess with your head a bit,” the “Bridesmaid” star revealed that when she turned 40, she knew she had to make a change. And for those asking, Rebel Wilson doesn’t have a goal weight. For the Australian-born star, it’s much more than a number.
“I turned 40 as well in March and so I thought, this is going to be the year for me to just concentrate on the health benefits,” she told The Sun. “It’s not like I want to lose weight and get to around a certain number. It’s more than that, it’s about dealing mentally with why I was overeating.”
She is “working on her mental side side” just as much as her physical one. Experts say the stunner has dropped 18kg, which is just under 40 pounds.
Rebel Wilson has been making pulses race with her thirsty snaps on social media lately. Most recently, she made mouths water when she slipped into tight leather pants that hugged her hourglass curves in the best possible way. She also made eyes explode when she stripped down to her push-up bra and got on all fours. Rebel Wilson has been working hard on her fitness and health, and the results show. The star has been in Australia getting her quarantine body right for the past several months.
